Axialis IconWorkshop 6.70 Now Creates 1024x1024 OSX Icon

PARIS, France, February 28, 2012 - Axialis Software announces the immediate availability of Axialis IconWorkshop 6.70, the newest version of its award-winning tool for creating icons for Windows and Macintosh platforms.

Axialis IconWorkshop has been around for a long time and its authors keep improving on its features. The program has been upgraded to version 6.70, which includes support for Macintosh OSX 10.7 Lion icons, as well as some new improvements. Macintosh OSX 10.7 now supports a PNG-compressed image format, allowing users to make icons up to 1024x1024 with alpha channel with a reduced file size. The new version of the Axialis software fully supports this format in all the aspects: editing, automatic format creation, batch creation, batch conversion, and format normalization.

With Axialis IconWorkshop you don't have to mess around pixels because it offers a unique Image Objects technology that lets you produce icons by picking shapes from the object library and assembling one on the other.
